Member Management System (MMS) UPDATE

MMS Update: 8/20/19
From USAV CEO, Jamie Davis:
“As you all know, we were set to begin utilizing a new member management system, SportsEngine, on September 1, 2019. For two years, USA Volleyball staff, Regional representatives and SportsEngine developers have worked diligently to create a state-of-the-art member management system unlike anything used by USA Volleyball in the past. We are extremely pleased with the work that has been done and know that the system will be an excellent resource for our clubs and members.

However, as of today (8/5/19), USA Volleyball has made the decision to postpone the launch of the new member management system for one year until the 2020/2021 volleyball season. This was not an easy decision to make, yet it was made in the best interests of all involved.

We will remain using Webpoint as the member management system for one more season. To that end, business will continue as usual and in the ordinary course for the start of the 2019/2020 season beginning September 1, 2019.”

ERVA Clubs & Members will remain using the Webpoint season this year and will still make the transition for the 2020-2021 season.

You will still be receiving communication from USAV/Sports Engine regarding the transition so please watch your emails throughout the next year.

What's a Member Management System (MMS)?

Our current member management system is Webpoint and this is where you all register for your USAV Membership's each season.

It also offers online certifications such as Ref/Score, IMPACT, SafeSport, Official's Certifications etc. Each club also administers their clubs within the system, creating teams, rosters, and more.

Introducing Sports Engine in 2020-2021:

This season USA Volleyball & the Evergreen Region will be using a new Member Management System, Sports Engine instead of Webpoint.

SportsEngine's new MMS technology will replace the current Webpoint system. The staff at SportsEngine is currenly working with USA Volleyball staff to migrate the data from Webpoint, and will be developing a number of videos, articles and other training materials for clubs and members.

EVERY member will need to create a new account this season on the Sports Engine site. One NEW feature will be a family can have ONE account with multiple memberships listed so, NO more having multiple logins & passwords! YAY!

Our office is committed to making this change as smooth and easy as possible for our members. We will communicate as often as possible with those directly impacted, and we encourage you to check our website and social media channels frequently for the latest information.
