IMPACT
Clinics

ALL COACHES MUST BE IMPACT
CERTIFIED PRIOR TO PARTICIPATION!
ALL coaches must fulfill the five coaching requirements as stated on pages 14
& 15 of the Participants' Handbook. This includes being IMPACT certified.
If a club is using a "coach mentee", (coach under 20 years old), he/she
also needs to be IMPACT certified. A mentee coach must have a supervising coach
present at all practices and on the bench at all tournament events.
**You MUST PRE-REGISTER
for all IMPACT clinics by e-mailing the region
office.** The cost is $40. There is limited space in each class, so register
early!
IMPACT clinics
focus on philosophy, ethics, safety, motivation, and theory. Officiating skills
are not part of this class. Coaches must attend a referee/scorekeeping
clinic each year to review rules and learn about the rule changes.
